AGO Open Forum with the AGOYO Board:

It has been said that there are as many ways to make a career in music as there are career musicians. There is no one-size-fits-all answer to the question of career development. Rather, there are myriad strategies for growing and advancing a career in music and each person must find the methods which are most effective for them. This workshop discussion, led by an age-diverse panel from the AGO Young Organists board, will offer strategies that have been helpful in developing the burgeoning careers of young performers, church musicians, and scholars. Attendees will leave this workshop with a plethora of ideas for establishing and expanding their professional footprint and with the determination to implement them in their own professional endeavors.
